 An important part of the project is the creation of digital tools adapted and designed specifically for artists, designers, illustrators and printers, seeking new experiences and types of digital creation.

 Overtype Studio Tour is a means of raising the profile of this concept, and is a journey around the leading studios to create a collaborative work and present the possibilities of the project.

 In this case, Overtype Studio Tour: BCN Vol. 1.0 includes six of Barcelona’s leading design studios in this collective work: Brosmind, Enric Sant, Flan*, Joel Lozano, Luis NCT, Hanako Mimiko y Happymiaow. Each of them has to use different artistic processes and tools to illustrate and/or design the portraits of the members of each studio. Overtype es un proyecto de investigación dirigido por flan* (flan.cat) enfocado en el estudio de la expresión del trazo y la combinación entre el dibujo y la tecnología. Una parte importante del proyecto es la creación de herramientas digitales adaptadas y diseñadas expresamente para artistas, diseñadores, ilustradores y tipógrafos, buscando nuevas experiencias y formas de creación digital. Para poder difundir este concepto y enriquecer la investigación nace Overtype Studio Tour, un recorrido por los principales estudios para crear una obra colaborativa y mostrar las posibilidades del proyecto. En este caso, Overtype Studio Tour: BCN Vol 1.0 reúne en este trabajo colectivo a 6 de los principales estudios de diseño de Barcelona: Brosmind, Enric Sant, Flan*, Joel Lozano, Luis NCT, Hanako Mimiko y Happymiaow. Cada uno de ellos debe utilizar distintos procesos y herramientas de creación para ilustrar y/o diseñar los retratos de los miembros de cada estudio.
