		<description>Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.
In this spot  a dog loves a Volkswagen so much, he decides to pretend he is one. He even masters parallel parking and the alarm. Not only those who drive the car  are impressed by it.





When the commercial was released it hit well over a million views in the first week alone. Client wanted to release a normal making of, but we came up with an idea: We put an actor on the set, the supposedly 'real' owner of the dog. We didn't tell the crew members that this man was an actor so the reactions to his annoying behavior are genuine. 
Instead of showing exactly how the commercial was made, we turned the making of into an interesting piece of content to generate a second wave of PR.

Challenge: Create an activation platform that connects Jupiler to festival culture in Belgium.

Belgium is a real festival-loving country. To help festival goers discover the numerous acts, we made the Act-Selector for Jupiler, main sponsor of all the major festivals.

The Act-Selector shows all the acts performing live using existing online content (e.g. video-clips on the band's MySpace or imagery captured by people in the audience). The user can instantly choose whether he likes or doesn't like an act. Through Facebook Connect the choices of your friends are always visible in your main screen.
The end-result is a personal festival schedule showing all the chosen acts and choices of friends in a timetable set-up. 

During the festival you can use the iPhone-app to check your personalized schedule and see where your friends are going.

Hello! We are Gijs Sluijters and Joris Tol, a creative team at DDB &#38; Tribal Amsterdam. We teamed up at the Willem de Kooning Arts Academy in Rotterdam while studying advertising.

We believe a good idea can be expressed in all kinds of media, therefore we like to work across multiple disciplines and channels. Digital technology has created innumerable possibilities which we like to explore and use.

After our graduation we worked at FHV BBDO Amsterdam and Famous Brussels where we made campaigns for Mars, Jupiler, Pepsi, Mercedes Benz, Monster.com, Interpolis, KPN Hi, Martini and Kidsrights.
In our spare time we design fonts and gather fame for hooligans.

Challenge: Show the power of newspaper advertising in a time where discussions about 'traditional' and 'digital' are a very popular thing.

We made personal fullpage advertisements addressed to decision-makers in the media, showing their online call-ups or advertisements accompanied with our message:
"Dear Wim van der Peet from GroupM, 9.5 million people in The Netherlands can now read that you are selling a hedgeshear on Marktplaats"
Ending with a call to action: "Advertise in the newspapers. You will reach a lot more."

Challenge:  Attract teens and young adults into sending postcards. 

With approval and collaboration of some popular magazines, we showed them how much fun and personal postcards can be. We placed postcards over the magazine's editorial design. Challenge: Prove the need for the Hi Bewaarbox. An online text message vault.

Hi is Holland's largest telecom provider.
In order to prove the need for the Bewaarbox (an online text message vault) we went into the streets and asked couples to look into each other's text message inbox. 
This little research proved that the BewaarBox fulfills needs that people may not be aware of. The item got appreciated in a lot of views and likes on the largest Dutch (scandal) blog Geenstijl.nl.
