The contour influences the shape/form of its spaces to create a rich, positive interior experience to encourage and welcome children to enter the building. Conceptually the Kindergarten deals with a hard and soft edge condition similar to its classroom module: the outside is a flat planar surface while the inside is defined by the contour. It transcends the classroom as it cuts the landscape creating a “crevice,” defining the structure itself and its various spaces. “The function of education is to teach one to think intensively and to think critically.
