This because they've lost their main target audience; families with children. The assignment was to make a packaging design win's back the family's trust. It was of highest priority to make a packaging design that clearly visualizes what kind of milk it was by the colors used in their previous design, and therefore using the target audience practiced behavior. The illustration is inspired by the heritage of milk and it's main purpose is to activate the consumer and get them to look around the whole package. This will work as a conversation starter around the table on the matters of working at a farm and what it's like, but could also lead the consumer to the back of the package where fun facts and small challenges await.
