<description>Letterpress poster made in collaboration with Proletariat.
Vintage wood type and custom cut shapes were used to print this poster on a Vandercook SP20 at Repeat Press. The poster measures 18x24" and has four colors with a blind impression of the brand logos at the bottom. Limited to an edition of 25, these are available exclusively through the Proletariat webstore.

Kerry from Proletariat put together a video that he filmed during the printing process, which can be seen below.

<description>letterpress poster for tristan da cunha's record release show, august 2007.

the printing process on this was interesting (and a bit tough to explain). i set up both layers of the print next to each other, one side with the letters upside down. using a split fountain, i was able to print two posters at a time. the paper was then rotated and the second layer was printed. as a result, the run has two variations of the layering. still with me? the split fountain also adds variation in the coloring, so each print was unique.

9.5x25in, printed using vintage wood type on a vandercook sp20 letterpress and available in the shop.
