The Upper East Side is a large, residential townhome development in an affluent area of East Ottawa. The developers behind the project approached us requiring a web presence that would instanly appeal to the demographic they were targeting: young, urban professionals looking to purchase a new home outside the core of the city. The site showcases not only the development and different units, but also the neighbourhood itself, and its many amenities.

The Struggle and the Progress is a 2009 iTunes-only LP release by artist, DJ, and musician Dustin Johnston. Working directly with the artist himself, we crafted the mobile companion site to extend the desktop experience into the iOS space. The end-result is a completely consistent and complimentary mobile experience.

The Glebe Business Improvement Area had no web presence, and was still un-branded after 2 years as an association. An identity was required for both the shopping district, and the neighborhood itself, as well as a website that would serve the needs of Glebe business members, and also showcase the diverse and eclectic nature of the Glebe shopping experience to the public. We were able to meet all project requirements, and launch a Wordpress-powered site that now acts as a hub for all-things-Glebe-business.

As one of the busiest boutique hotels in Abu Dhabi, UAE, The Eclipse Boutique Suites needed a complete re-think of their entire web presence. We were able to deliver a complete re-design of the look-and-feel, site architecture, and user-experience. We also tied the site into the hotel booking application, providing guests with the ability of choosing arrival and departure dates, number of guests, and inputting promotional codes—all from a custom widget built into the front-end.

For the second version of our studio site, we decided to take a completely different approach to showcasing the company, as well as our client work. We chose to showcase completed client work using fullscreen photography sequences—and through the use of an abstract video clip (and some creative code) we were able to achieve a minimalist, and slightly ethereal user-experience.

Los Angeles-based Magento is a industry-leading eCommerce platform provider. We were approached by the VP of Product Management and asked to provide a series of theme designs that would be made available to Magento customers in an eventual "theme store". Over the course of 7 months, we delivered over 25 theme designs to the Magento development team for integration into their system.

For our iOS companion studio site, we again wanted to showcase client work in a unique and original manner—but in this case, we were well aware that what worked in the desktop experience, would not scale to the mobile device and browser. We chose to shoot and edit a short film of our client work "in action", allowing visitors to view our projects being used in their natural state—on the screen.

With no presence in the digital space, Jacobsons Concept Gourmet tasked us to lead the brand into the modern age. We developed a simple, intuative site that matches the elegant feel of the Jacobsons retail experience. Our goal was to let photography drive the online experience, and tell a large part of the Jacobsons story, keeping the written word to a bare minimum.
