Matthew 6:34 18" x 24" Screen Prints
This is a project that is very near and dear to my heart. This verse has helped me get through some tough times and I wanted to pay tribute to it with hand lettering. After the attention and requests for prints I decided to bite the bullet and get some made. 

So, I had Mama's Sauce, a premier specialty print shop based out of Orlando, Florida print these bad boys. The result is phenomenal, they put as much love and attention to detail as I did creating it! The print is 18" x 24," 4 color on French Paper's Cream Speckletone. Only $45, order and enjoy!

AIGA Portland's Graffiti Type Showcase
The showcase is apart of AIGA Portland's Design Week on Wednesday, October 10, 2012. They asked 26 artist and designers to interpret one letter of the English alphabet in graffiti and exhibit it at the event. This event will also debut a documentary film, Graffiti Fine Art, about 65 graffiti artists from 13 countries who descend upon São Paulo, Brazil for the “Graffiti Fine Art” Exhibition at the MuBE Museum.

Type murals
Tracy Locke is an agency rich with history and is almost 100 years old. To memorialize this we chose to do murals of quotes by one of TracyLocke's famous chairmen, Morris Hite. I came up with the designs for the murals and hand drew the type on the walls. To help out, a team was assembled to paint. The portrait of Morris Hite was painted by a close friend who helped me come up with the idea.

Cattle Barons Ball 2012
We were given the task to create this year's theme logo based on ruggedness and beauty as well as the phrase "Give Cancer the Boot." To convey this, my idea was to hand drew all of the type to display both Victorian type and typographic elements from old broadside posters.

Cattle BaronCattle Baron's Ball 2012 Catalog
The catalog was a huge undertaking. Since the year was focused on giving cancer the boot we wanted the catalog to tell the story of how the American Cancer Society has helped in doing just that. Each divider page illustrates a fact that the American Cancer Society helped fund. I hand lettered, illustrated and designed the divider pages, cover and title page and agency ad. The copy was written by Nedal and rest of the book was designed by Madeline and Sherri.

My friends were getting married at the Fort Worth Stock Yards and their colors were CMYK (they are designers). I was inspired by old western broadside posters. I hand drew their names.

Leaving Lust Vegas
This was a series held at Fellowship Church a couple of years ago about lust. The series dealt with the  consequences it can cause and how to get rid of it. Based on this I came up with an illustration of type making up the individuals. The words show the things men and women struggle with and also the consequences.

Closer to the Start
Fellowship Church produced this worship CD and I designed it. The artwork on the front was created by the design team (me included) and was the focus for the design for the booklet. As the viewer looks through the booklet the art deconstructs to the end of the booklet. The last spread is the sketch which is where the art began.

That Book

This is a brochure I designed for Fellowship Church's camp. The camp is luxuriously affordable and located in a beautiful spot in East Texas. The brochure is rustic with a high-end feel.

Fusion was a weekly Singles' event of praise, worship and mingling. These drinks were custom made and passed out during the event. The design converges around the letter o symbolizing a gathering.

At the Movies
This was a sermon series Fellowship Church produced presenting movie clips to illustrate the message. The look and feel we came up with was heavily influenced by Art Deco and we created several movie posters promoting the event. This was my take on it.

Church Chaos Survival Guide
This was a book that explained how to solve several sticky situations a church could face. I based the illustrations off of several how to guides and gave them a humorous spin. Each sequence of illustrations were different articles found throughout the book.

Shopper Marketing Ad Illustration
TracyLocke, the agency I work at, produces an ad featured in the Shopper Marketing magazine. The ads are created to look like an article an this ad was talking about advertising on packaging. I created illustration of a flat box showing the different ways to advertise on a package.
