From Promo News:

After the epic lunacy of his video for Three Trapped Tigers’ Reset, Chris Boyle is back with another burst of zany imagination for Summer Camp’s Down – which also gets us in the mood for the upcoming All Hallows Eve…

Set at a jolly Halloween house party, it’s comprised entirely from more than fifty infinitely looping shots – all available as gifs on the band’s Tumblr.

Trapped in the loops are Jeremy and Elizabeth from Summer Camp as two undead sweethearts, invisible to the other revelers, like a couple of refugees from Beetlejuice…

“Massive thanks to all the party goers and crew for not freaking out about the huge shot list, or the tiny budget,” says Chris, a director and animator building a reputation for his witty and graphic promos, TVCs and video game work.

From Promo News

You can hardly get a bigger subject than this – on a smaller scale.

Chris Boyle and the team at JJ Stereo have realised landmark events from the often bloody and grisly history of mankind in scale model form for the philosophical Just Jack. It’s like a highly ambitious but rather less-explicit work by Jake and Dinos Chapman.

It virtually manages the several billion-year timespan of Fatboy Slim’s Right Here Right Now by Hammer & Tongs – and also does it in what appears to be a continuous shot – so it’s a considerable achievement. And particular props (that is the right word) go to art director Caroline Story.

From Promo News:

It’s not every day that a new video for a classic track from one of the iconic British rock bands comes along – but here’s one.

Chris Boyle – who won an UK MVA for Best Music Ad last October – gets to grips with The Who’s Tattoo, reworking the band’s classic iconography and introducing tat-influenced visuals in a evocative retro trip reminiscent of the old theater light shows.

The video was commissioned to celebrate the re-release of the classic Who album Live At Leeds, and created using a heady mix of 2D, 3D and hand drawn animation.

Lovecraftian Cult Mythology meets kitchen sink in this video for Three Trapped Tigers.

From Promo News:

Chris Boyle’s astonishing, utterly bonkers video for Three Trapped Tigers’ Reset features the commanding presence of Matt Berry as The Leader – the self-styled saviour of the world.

And what a world it is – Armageddon, apocalypse (and lots of significant triangles) in an insane mash-up of VFX and animation styles (handdrawn, 2D and 3D) that Chris Boyle has lovingly created over an epic seven or so minutes. Without question, a jawdropping, hugely entertaining (and did we say completely mad?) tour de force.

Artist: Three Trapped Tigers

Label: Pink Mist/ Blood and Biscuits
The Leader: Matt Berry
Direction and Animation: Chris Boyle
