As a contractor for Creditex, I successfully piloted a digital fabric library system which would assist in the efficiency of product development at the mill. I worked in each department of the mill to obtain a stronger grasp on the product development and production process. The project was multifaceted and aimed at obtaining diverse experiences within the textile industry - from working in mills, to a design agency, and with artisans - all with the purpose of understanding different methods in which textile design and production can be made more sustainable. This embedded exposure and first-hand experience provided an unparalleled education in the workings of this complicated industry. It put faces to all of the major brands we wear each day.
