		<description>The brainchild of Syfy and Trion Worlds, Defiance is a revolution in transmedia entertainment that, for the first time, unites scripted television and multiplatform online gaming in one convergent world.  Set 30 years in the future on an Earth transformed by the coexistence of humans and aliens, events in the show impact the game in realtime, and events in the game influence the future plotlines of the show.
I served as lead CD for Syfy, developing project positioning, long-lead promotion, sales presentations, a number of trailers, a behind-the-scenes online series, integrated sponsor creative, and a massive Comcast media campaign.

This series of behind-the-scenes vignettes featured the creators and cast of Defiance from both and show and game. ON-AIR SAMPLER

An assortment of spots I wrote and produced over the past few years, with one exception: The "Sharktopus" spots feature animation conceived and executed by in-house designers who interpreted my unnatural animal combos. 


CHA$E

I conceptualized, wrote and produced this series of high-end shoot spots. Filmed in LA, and featuring stunts that made me queasy, it was maybe the most fun I've ever had.


ANI-MONDAY

To promote a late-night animation block, a small team of us revoiced some classic anime clips to be a little...different. These are a few of mine.

The best semi-animated series ever made. I was thrilled to work work with show creator Russell Barrett on these launch spots.

Syfy UPFRONT 2010 "Syfy EFFECT"

In 2010, I coined and developed the "Syfy Effect" -- a term given to the big results achieved through a partnership with Syfy. Introducing the term at the Syfy 2010 Upfront event at MoMA, the Syfy Effect reel showcased many of Syfy's most successful sales collaborations from 2009. The Syfy Effect had such a high degree recall after the Upfront event that it became the central sales message for print and digital trade ads throughout the rest of 2010.
