<description>Beginning on February 4th, Artist Home will begin presenting Family Friendly Matinees on the first Saturday of each month at the Q Cafe in Seattle.

In the past two years, we have seen a unique audience of music lovers that are parents gravitate to family friendly events we produce like Doe Bay Fest, and the Summer Bonfire Series. By getting to know these people and becoming parents ourselves, we’ve seen that there is a real lack of regular opportunities for young parents to take their families to shows that are simply based on great bands that they (the parents) might love. It is our aim to meet the demand of these families who have supported our events by filling that void with a monthly concert series that caters to their love of music and longing to share that with their kids. We think this is a very special thing and are excited to help create an atmosphere where young people can get excited about local music and artists are able to play in front of audiences they haven’t had a chance to.

Artist Home’s “Family Matinee” concert series will take place on the first Saturday of each month at the Q Café beginning on February 4th with local bands The Local Strangers, and Squirrel Butter. The concerts will take place between 5pm – 8pm and children under 10 years old will always have free admission.

<description>Sunny days in Seattle are like holidays. Folks here celebrate these rare moments of sun by heading to the beach and firing up the grill. What’s the best way to end a day of play in the beautiful Northwest? How about great local musicians serenading you as the sun sets over the sound?
&#60;img src="http://payload.cargocollective.com/1/3/102794/1591683/bonfire_200.jpg"&#62;

Artist Home, the people behind Doe Bay Fest, Slack Fest, High Dive and the Columbia City Theater, is excited to announce our Summer Bonfire Series. These free performances will take place the last Sunday of June, July and August on one of two beaches in Seattle.

On each date, two local bands/musicians will play fireside acoustic sets as the sun goes down. We won’t be announcing who is playing, but rest assured we’ve selected these artists with the same quality and care that we have for all Artist Home Presents events.

Come early to enjoy the beach and spend time with the musicians and friends before the music gets going. The whole family is welcome to enjoy our brief Seattle summer with music, friends and fun.

June 26 – Golden Gardens
July 31 – Alki Beach
August 28 – Golden Gardens
7:30-10:30pm – all dates

More details about the Summer Bonfire Series will be released in the weeks to come so be sure to follow Artist Home on Facebook and Twitter.

If you would like more information please contact Morgan Lipe at Artist Home Booking.

		<description>[FACEBOOK EVENT]
What started as a party at the Stanwood Hotel in 2004 has morphed into a music festival celebrating the spirit and passion Don Slack puts into every show he attends and the bands who inspire it.

One of the Pacific Northwest's most recognizable and involved music fans for decades, Don Slack also moonlights as celebrated DJ of KEXP's "Swingin' Doors." And anyone who has seen Slack in his natural habitat in the middle of a packed crowd with wife Deb by his side and a Rainier in hand knows he can put most 22-year-olds to shame.

Held on a racetrack on a slice of Silvana, Washington farmland nestled against the Stillaguamish River, Slack Fest features some of the Pacific Northwest's best bands like you've never seen them before: playing on a dirt racetrack on the back of a flatbed truck. Slack Fest offers a laid back but loud alternative to summer festivals in the city or as 2011 performers Whalebones sing, "I'm going up the country where less is more."

The Columbia City Theater boasts one of the most beautiful settings for live music and performance in Seattle. The 300 capacity theater re opened on June 25th, 2010 to rave reviews and even made it into the Seattle Weekly’s “Best of Seattle” list after being open for less than two months. The theater has since been dubbed “The city’s finest sounding room” by SPIN Magazine.

We’re proud to have overseen the remodel and re-opening of this historic landmark and are equally proud of the shows we have booked here as talent buyers.

If you’re interested in performing at the Columbia City Theater, please email Kevin @artisthomepresents.com
