Momotarō is based around the japanese tale of Little Peachling which follows the story of a little boy who came from a giant peach. The folklore tells that the peach was floating down a river and an old lady took it home for them to eat. Once the peach was cut in half Momotarō then jumped out. The game focuses on Momotarō’s life, including when he left his parents to fight the oni, and the befriending of the monkey, dog and pheasant.

Utilizing the tale of Momotarō, third person camera and adventure RPG genre were aspects set within a strict breif, created by university course leaders.
  My Role: Environment and Character 3D Modelling, Rigging, 
UV Unwrapping, Logo, Menu and Promotional Design

		<description>Orb is a game concept, created in a group of four. The original breif was to create a polished game concept with an accompanied prototype using GameMaker.

The games main mechanic consists of collecting orbs of light to replenish the constantly deminishing players field of view. The games mood atmosphere plays similarly to games such as Limbo.

My role within the assignment consisted of development of the game idea, early level concepts and sound design. 

See below promotional images displaying the tutorial, first and second level created within the games prototype. 

Within the future we intend to further develop the idea and create a finished game.
