<description>Museo Publications offers a full palette of new-media products and services. We produce short documentary videos on artists, focusing on technical processes, as well as animated shorts, enriched reproductions of art, floorplans, maps, and more.

The first feature below is a documentary video of artist Phoebe Washburn produced by artist Maia Marinelli in collaboration with art historian Anna Mecugni. It was originally published for Museo Magazine in 2008 in conjunction with an interview with the artist.

The second feature below is an example of Museo Publications' work in Flash animation from a project consisting of a series of thirty such animations (approximately one minute each) for the MyArtsLab web platform for Marilyn Stokstad and Michael Cothren's Art History. The simulations have been used for for Janson's History of Art and for other higher education titles in Art Appreciation and the Humanities.

Museo Magazine is a web publication on contemporary art and its greater historical context. Published independently in agglomerating archive form, the primary domain is largely composed of interviews with leading contemporary artists, intermixed with a smaller number of essays and online projects. The other primary section of the publication is a visual blog, Muse, which is an ongoing, curatorial conversation among images across time and space. Leveling traditional categorizations, this section elicits new substantive connections through juxtaposition.

Museo Publications offers services to organizations in establishing online art publications to serve the needs of their communities. We also partner with galleries and museums for republication projects and to create Museo-style content for catalogues and exhibition ephemera.
