I also designed the banner for the iTunes show that topped the list of most downloaded several times this year. Also re-worked Avicii's wantickets.com wesbite. Can't wait to work with these guys again. Our goal was to help twelve newcomers in the swedish fashion industry and I chose Drakenberg Sjölin. They produce jewelery inspired by the Nordic light and darkness, seasons of spring, autumn and the constant movement in nature and I tried to keep that scandinavian, light and airy feel to it but with the model being a bit on the edgy side with her sharp eyes and her pose. In the end the client was very happy with the shot and has been using it as their main selling material at their authorized dealers. It was later voted best advert by Aftonbladet's readers ahead of the 11 other groups from Berghs School of Communication in February of 2010. I still work with Andrea & Ellen and have just recently finished their new website and helped them shoot their second ad campaign, again with Jörgen Brennicke. All we had was a bunch of ideas and a name. The hunting industry and everything around it is very, very traditional in it's design language and my goal with this project was to keep a classic and elegant tone to everything but with a modern 21st century twist. This took me four months from the first meeting to where we are today and we ended up with the following (most of it pictured below) — stationery on thick eggshell colored paper with raised gold lettering, a new "D" symbol with a pheasant on it , a new logotype, new selling material, new photography stock with over 500 photographs, shot and edited by myself, new facebook page and of course, a new → website. The great part of this project was the client, who was very open to all my ideas and gave me his complete trust in all my decisions. I have always dreamt about creating a brand from scratch, without stupid strings attached from anyone. So in the beginning of 2010 me, my brother Hampus Winqvist and a dear friend of ours, Richard Åkerlund set out to design a classic driving mocassin but with a few unique tocuhes. A couple of months after the birth of our idea there was time for me to start my graduation project and I figured this would be the perfect motivation to help us get this up and running. All three of us has spent summers in the south of France for as long as we can remember and we thought it would be fitting, to name our brand after our favorite place. So we chose the name Azur which is the color of the ocean but also part of the name Côte d'Azur (French Riviera) which is exactly the perfect place for these to be worn. In the following video me and Richard flew down there to shoot some stills and videos, a great excuse for a pretty sweet vacation if you ask me... Please keep in mind this is just a sketch. Equipment used: Canon 5D Mark II, Canon EF 24-70 f/4L & Canon EF 85mm f/1.8 In the following video, we showcase the logotype, which takes inspiration from an old travel poster which I then re-designed to work as a logotype. Also in the video are the rest of the identity and the photographs I took. As said before, please keep in mind that this is just a rough sketch of what it will look like when we launch it in the future. Today, we are still motivated to continue the journey but producing shoes have been a major hurdle. Finding a solid manufacturer that can produce high quality shoes, in low quantities, with all the certificates and of course, without paying a fortune for it, has been difficult.
