We wanted to create something that would tell the story of the company through images in order to give new employees a warm welcome and introduction to the company. This guide includes company information, history, instructions on drink-making procedures with infographics, and all the coffee varieties D&M has to offer. Each book has custom scrapbook designs and more for the customer to create their own scrapbook right in the purchased book. All our books are cohesive in color pallet, handwritten typography and style; each book has its own theme, "The Danielle" is City Girl-Girly, "The Caytlyn" is Chic Beachy, and "The Samantha" is all things Nature. This café is unique because it creates lunch sandwiches made out of dessert items that still fill you up and taste great! The sandwiches are a quirky mix of items that come together to make something taste good and be a special part of the day for customers. Some other favorites are the unconventional handling of American favorites like pizza and nachos that are turned into dessert meals. The café also focuses on baked goods like a wide variety of cupcakes and cookies to go along with the main meals. Customers can dine in or get a sandwich or box of cupcakes to go. Along with the specialty dessert fair, the café also serves coffee and teas on the go. Be Sweet is in a little nook in Seattle (Pioneer Square area), kind of hidden so it will be like a secret good place that loyal and local customers know about. The typical customer is a local who could be a business person who lives downtown in an expensive condo and on their way home from work or on break they slip away to this café to grab a snack or a drink in the morning. It will also be a place where young 20 to 30 hip artsy people go to hang out and enjoy coffee and lunch. This cafe will also be a part of the Seattle art scene and by the galleries that are a part of first Thursday art walk in Seattle which will also bring in a lot of customers for the café. The atmosphere will be a mix of new and old. The atmosphere to have a feel of antiquity with modern elements thrown in; it will have art work and frames that resemble paintings from earlier periods but also be mixed with some more postmodern work and approach.
