about: multidisciplinary design

the relish factory is a design studio run by simona vitalini
an italian designer gone to finland / ireland
I started the relish factory in 2007 as my personal visual portfolio.
I grew up in Italian Alps, influenced by a lot of fresh mountain air. In 2007, after completing my design studies in Milano (Politecnico, master degree) and Finland (design institute), I began designing in Dublin and Finland. Since then, I have worked at several design firms and with different roles and clients, including Nokia, the Danish embassy of Ireland, Helsingin Sanomat, the Digital Hub of Dublin.
At the moment I am thrilled to be the Design Management course lecturer in the University of Applied Sciences (TAMK), in collaboration with the Workshop Demola.
Simplicity is my watchword, in terms of both how I live, what I do and how I do it. I create design that solves problems effectively and effortlessly. I am a firm believer in white space and sustainable, elegant design.
I currently live between Finland and Italy.
Here I write sometimes...
For privacy reasons I can not show here, at the moment, any content related to my current job as a designer at Nokia.
