Form
Automobile Driver Assistance System
Client: National Institute of Design
A handy device that could notify the driver about obstacles on the road, vehicle proximity and probable danger zones was conceptualized. The prototype was made using MDF (Medium Density Fibreboard).
Redesign of a Basic Film Loading Camera
Client: National Institute of Design
As a part of the Advanced Form course, a simple film camera was studied. The exploded view of the camera helped understand the minute details of it's inner components. A thermacol prototype was also built to make the exterior form outdoor friendly.
La-P! - Twin screen mobile tablet
Client: National Institute of Design
One of the first exploratory courses at NID, ergonomics and form proved to be a resourceful introduction to material and usability in the physical world. The project involved building a "convergence" device keeping in mind the spike in technology in recent times.
The prototype was built using MDF (Medium Density Fibreboard) which was hinged at the center to form a foldable model.
Form & Color Transition
Client: National Institute of Design
A study of one of my favorite symbols, Batman. The transition shows the symbol evolving from an older version (used in Batman media in the early 90's) to the current one (2005*).
