Rachel makes pictures on thin plastic sheets that function as installations. They stem from the worlds of painting, history, design, and personal sentiment.

Rachel Jones received her MFA from the University of New Orleans in 2008. In New Orleans, her work has been exhibited at The Front, and Arthur Roger 'Project Space'. In 2007 she had a solo exhibition at the Contemporary Arts Center, New Orleans, and in 2008 she participated in a two-person exhibition at the Galerie im Amdechsdoff in Innsbruck, Austria. In 2009 her work appeared in a group show at Winkleman Gallery in New York, and the Hot up Here show at the CAC.
Rachel also recently participated in a two-person show in the Contemporary wing of the New Orleans Museum of Art.
