We wanted hackers and tech influencers to know about Nokia’s new device, the N900. It’s built on open source which means it’s perfect for hacking.
We created the Hackerbox. A box that’s impossible to open without hacking skills. We placed the N900 and gifts inside. It was delivered to the 10 influential hackers and open source advocates and the first blog post appeared within hours.
Every year W+K send a Christmas greeting to all friends. In 2009 we wanted to do something for our neighbours too. Spread some Christmas spirit and bring a smile to people's faces. We created W+K Advent calendar. Every morning in December we decorated something in the neighbourhood.
The brief was to communicate how eBay delivers "Shopping worth talking about". We created a new way of shopping on eBay, a service called Find it. When, for example, walking down the street and coming across something you like, take a photo and send it to Find it. In return you'll get a message with the best match on eBay.
