Facebook: The Board Game

The Problem
Create an experience to promote Facebook as the most effective way of communicating with friends

The Solution
Remind people of the importance of real life social networks and relationships

The Outcome
Facebook: The Board Game
As a young person living in the digital age, I feel as though the internet is affecting our ability to communicate with one another.

Facebook: The Board Game was created as a response to this. The idea is that as well as engaging with Facebook on your computer or phone, you can arrange to meet up with friends, have a few drinks and play in real life.

The game uses the identity and visual language of Facebook to show how fundamentally important human contact is to people.

There are many hilarious forfeits and fun tasks incorporated into the game, including drinking forfeits, having your account 'hacked' and unfriending people.

It has been written up by many design blogs, such as Design Milk, Design Taxi, Gizmodo and has received attention from The Huffington Post.
