Palimpsest is a heterogeneous anthology of multiples; an unbound magazine comprised of print, audio, textile, video, etc. Each issue is curated around a set theme open to interpretation and discussion.

Palimpsest was conceived in Montreal, Quebec. The first issue of the magazine was released November 12th 2009, at Librarie Drawn & Quarterly.

Currently, we have staff members residing in Montreal, England, Berlin, Paris and Vancouver, as well as collaborators in New York and Toronto. We are always looking to expand our network of co-conspirators - please don't hesitate to contact us.

For a more detailed description of our project's life and the events leading to its inception, check out Tess Edmonson's Love Letter To The Reader - the 5x17 inch scroll which prefaced our inaugural issue in November, 2009.

Palimpsest attempts to publish bi-annually, and is funded independently.
