Learn Something Every Day is the self initiated project by Young, a design & art direction studio based in Manchester, U.K.

The project began August 1st 2009 after a discussion between both founders, Pete Jarvis & Geth Vaughan in a pub late one evening, a couple of days later the site was launched. Within a month of launching the daily doodle project and attracting very little visitors, the online blogging and social networking community started taking notice; the site very quickly started generating over 10,000 visitors a day. The website interacts with its audience by allowing people to submit their lesser-known facts - and the best ones being drawn- every day.

Learning wasn't fun when we were at school, but it might have been if we had learnt like this.
