My contribution to iam8bit's Street Fighter 25th Anniversary show. Street Fighter was one of the first video games to feature a culturally diverse cast of characters, and was also one of the first games to cast a female as strong, heroic character instead of a damsel in distress. I wanted to explore the idea of Chun-Li being one of the first female characters to say "We Can Do It" and be a hero in a video game, similar to the Rosie the Riveter image from the World War II era (although it's not nearly as culturally significant, obviously).
