Having written a regular magazine reviews column for the U.K.'s premiere graphic design magazine, Grafik, ok interrupt was invited to take over the design of the magazine from issue 187. Unfortunately the print edition of the magazine has been put on hold indefinately but you can see some of the subtle changes we began to implement in the slideshow above.

After a long time away, ok interrupt returned to MusicHQ after an invitation to provide editorial design for their annual summer festivals guide.

Michael worked with The Future Laboratory and View Publications on two issues of bi-annual trend forecasting publication, Viewpoint magazine. During this time he initiated a subtle refresh of the title including the installation of new cuts of previously used fonts, strengthening the grid and existing hierarchies of information.

When YCN decided to produce a magazine to help promote the numerous illustrators and image makers they look after, Michael was bought on board to work closely with them on developing a brand new title. The publication ended up featuring the work of over 40 emerging creatives and sold out at stockists such as the Tate and ICA.
