mission: create a simple site to summarize and sell
sins of my father, a documentary that follows the son of pablo escobar–the most notorious drug trafficker of our times.
accomplished: a digital documentary. a site that enhances a film instead of merely supporting it. the website shows the history of the escobar family and the country of colombia through an interactive timeline. easter eggs reveal childhood scrapbooks, family photographs, and even birthday cards written by the king of cocaine himself.

mission: create a portfolio for a brooklyn-based event design shop, tinsel & twine, specializing in boutique weddings and celebrations.
accomplished: a portfolio that captures the aesthetic: a little bit of tinsel shine and a little bit of organic twine. so the site was designed to be clean and happy, to exude the same energy as celebrations, and photo corners were used to add a vintage touch to the compositions.

mission: convince young adult women–ages 18-26–that HPV and cervical cancer are real-life threats.
accomplished: a modern fairy tale positioned as a full-feature movie. posters and print ads drive young women to lifeisnofairytale.com. there, they view the trailer (which we developed with tim burton's animators) and find the heart of the campaign: mini-documentaries on how HPV and cervical cancer have affected women just like them.

mission: create a teaser site for redklay, a new service that lets you view and organize your digital social life–twitter, facebook, foursquare, last.fm, etc.–all with one beautiful, simple login. imagine if everything were as convenient.
accomplished: a single-page introduction using new york city as the platform to explain the advantages of redklay. starting with a short video, users are quicklly immersed into redklay. the colorful theme displays the main features of the service: being able to navigate your social life through time, places, and other people's perspectives. it ends with a strong call-to-action for the user to sign up. displayed above is a design exploration for the start-up's beta site.

accomplished: a site that showcases several videos–some funny, some serious–that present facts about HPV to young women, ages 17-26. the result is a web experience that's not just educational, it's also entertaining.

accomplished: a design exploration for the start-up's website that allows users to intuitively organize their digital social lives–everything from facebook, twitter, foursquare, last.fm, and more–all in one convenient place.

mission: convince young women to talk to their doctors about hpv, a subject most find embarrassing or even gross.
accomplished: a simple site that shows young women how to avoid the negative social consequences of contracting HPV. the experience starts with a simulated text message that compels users to listen to several conversations between other young women. at the end, after all the gossip, users read instructions on how to begin the right conversation: one with their doctor.

mission: feature samsung products in an approachable, friendly light.
accomplished: a homepage that showcases samsung products in real life. this design allowed consumers to navigate through user-generated photographs featuring samsung products in action. each photo diplays the products in context, from a much more human perspective.

mission: spread awareness of aflac dental's services.
accomplished: a digital effort to catch your friend cracking a smile. pictures of user reactions are taken while cute and funny images of ducks are displayed. their smile–at that very moment–is then recorded and aggregated into a gallery, where you can see all the smiles that are brought to you by aflac dental (with help from the ducks).

mission: create a valentine's day present for young couples feeling the love.
accomplished: little boxes of love featuring puzzle maps of new york city that display each couple's unique places, e.g., first kiss, favorite restaurant, etc. sets of several colors were made, but this one's my personal favorite.
