LOOSE JOINTS
The Loose Joints audio crew is comprised of Attitude City members David Shaw, Davey Lähteenma, and Chris Paré.
Dave has sprinkled disco science from Sri Lanka to San Fran and guested on Tim Sweeney's Beats in Space. Davey, a classically trained musician, mixes like Mozart and selects like Mancuso. Chris, a weekend resident at Pub Quartier Latin in Montreal, writes for Nightlife Magazine, and is militantly anti-MP3.
Together, they helm the good space-ship Loose Joints, and collectively possess a crate-digger's knowledge of left-field disco history from Frisco to Rome, with dance-floor alchemy second to none. The LJ crew have hosted legendary heads like DFA's Hercules & Love Affair, Mike Simonetti, Rub n' Tug, Dan Selzer and John Selway while spinning at a dizzying array of clubs, leaving their resident's mark on Tokyo, Le Social and Saphir, to name just a few. Recent guests include the very talented Brennan Green, mastermixers Lee Douglas & Jacques Renault and Portland duo Glass Candy.
