A large scale project celebrating the long standing and successful technical relationship between Shell and Ferrari, featuring augmented reality, touch screen applications, animation and much more.
A permanent exhibition at Galleria Ferrari Museum in Maranello, the 12 touch tables, 6 sound sticks and an augmented reality application are viewed by more than 200,000 visitors each year.
A strong use of augmented reality presents a genuinely interesting and novel method of navigating rich content, coupled with an elegant touch screen application, the workings of this long lasting relationship are brought to life using specifically created content.
Employing the new Shell visual identity, this project contributes to the concept and development of digital aspects of Shell's brand.
This was then rolled out across the digital materials for the Challenge Bibendum exhibition in Rio.
The projects were well received by both Shell and Ferrari, gaining client comments such as:
"The relationship between the Shell team and Digital has been very close, and I feel that 'Red Campus' shows the benefits of strong integration between branding, 3D and physical design and Digital."
"This is a fantastic achievement for the Galleria. Alonso liked it so much that he visited again the Galleria the morning after with his wife and a couple of friends."
