This project aims primarily to encourage the user or viewer to question their relationships with the machinery around them today in the 21st Century. The Harmonograph, exhibited at the CSM degree show, and the Regents Canal Art Festival, is a piece of equipment that employs pendulums to depict sound, created by Hugh Blackburn in the 1800s.

During the exhibitions the audience were encouraged to change the weights of each pendulum which employed different results each time, making each print individual to the person.
