This poster was created for the 2008 Real Show Competition. The mandatory content, print specifications
and preferred style of the overall design were outlined in
the competition guidelines. The featured illustration is based on the idea of a mutant instrument containing all of the equipment used by a band. It was inspired by vintage illustration styles.

An accompanying t-shirt was created with 2 colors printed on a teal American Apparel shirt. The design was created in collaboration with peer Claire Gipson and includes original illustration and layout paired with Claire’s hand drawn type.
