Earlier this year, I worked with Brittany Bosco & The Big Up Creative Collective to create our first "Bacon & Tea Party". Our goal was to gain a greater connection to the Atlanta creative community with a one of a kind experience that focused on simplicity & taste. We took the time to create hand-made, personalized invitations welcoming guests to indulge in a night complimented with hand-crafted tea & charcuterie, cocktails and conversation. With a lot of hard work and a few sleepless nights, we were able to team up with The Goat Farm & Mint Gallery to make this night a wonderful success.
The concept behind the poster design itself was to illustrate the idea of the project visually. I illustrated the human connection and exploration by using the infinity symbol and hands in a simple embrace. The print itself was done on semi-transparent vellum & can be combined to create a third poster, showing that if we look inside ourselves and work together, the possibilities are infinite.
Everything we need is in us.
"Everything We Need is in Us" is not so much of a public collaboration concept as much as it is an innocent suggestion. In a world that has become preoccupied with subscribing to people we don't know, yearning for what we don't have, obsessed with the way things no longer are or never will be, this brainchild gently nudges at the notion that everything we need is in us.

As each day brings me closer to having my studio completed, I'm really excited to be able to create freely and bring you new things! I created this project to show my love for the folks who are following my work and help me continue to grow as a designer. Enjoy!
Boyson was by far one of my favorite projects to work on to date. A collaborative stop-animated film directed by photographer John Michael fulton, Boyson was a challenge not only visually but one of my first experiences working with an independent team of designers that included Erin Stevens (Art Direction), Erik Astudillo (Music), Hannah Betterton (Vocals), Leslie Michelle (Interior Production), and myself. I was responsible for the exterior environments as well as some creative direction, production & intro sequence.
"Boyson is a dark, spellbinding piece that captures the beautiful relationship between mother and son. My curiosity as a director is in the production of mood and the ambivalence of a resolution. Using reconstructed Jungian archetypes & symbols, the viewer witnesses a reinvention of the body in a corporal, visceral experience."
This is a project that I had the pleasure of creating for the folks over at Mindzai Creative in Atlanta, GA. Mindzai was in need of a promotional piece to showcase their various design & print capabilities and display to clients creative solutions for visually & effectively communicating ideas.
Designed as a promotional EP for singer/songwriter, Bosco in collaboration with Alex Goose. With little to no budget and deadlines looming, Alex and I had to come up with a package design that would immediately catch anybody's eye. As part of The Big Up!, we not only want to create great music, but also great design and packaging to go with it.The design has been recognized on www.thedieline.com, as well as many other blogs and sites.
As much as I love digital design work & tangible typography (and I love it dearly!), I will always have a true passion for simply drafting & sketching ideas with paper & pencil.
