GOfish is a small independent arts magazine developed and published by Michael Agzarian and myself.

GOfish magazine came from the need for a magazine that displayed the artistic talents of people in Wagga and beyond (without the intrusive advertising.)

The first issue below on the left included a wide and unique range of work, photography, painting, typography and writing. I guess you could say it was the guinea pig, the first little fluff ball to run down the race and the reaction we got from the locals and all around the world was very humbling.

In the past women designers and artists have not been recognised as having the same stature as men. The second issue of GOfish aims at recognising a broad range of (creative) women and their capacity to produce works that are beautiful, impressionable and powerful.

GOfish3, the portraits edition is the biggest to date. With over 65 pages of full colour and the calibre of work we received from right across the globe is pretty darn cool. From feature artists Mervyn Bishop and Jorge Rodriguez to Australian portrait painter Evert Ploeg every single work in this edition is evoking and powerful.

The theme for the new edition of GOfish is love, if you would like to submit a creative work (including writing and poetry) please email us at art@gofish.org.au
