Born and raised in Lubbock, Texas, "Michael Shane" Gordon began working at an ABC Television Station as a teenager. Soon after, he moved his photojournalism/videography/editing career to Austin, Texas. Up from CBS KEYE 42, NBC 36 to KTBC Fox 7, he was honored with the Texas Associated Press Award for editing a documentary titled, "A Tour of Duty." Thereafter, Michael Shane was promoted to a weekly, investigative segment and earned another AP award. During this period Michael Shane began to focus on Fashion,Editorial,Commercial/Advertising and Fine Art Photography/Videography for Texas magazines and companies as well as model portfolio development for models at Elite Model Management NY at the same time shooting video for Inside Edition.

He continues to shoot Fashion,Model portfolios, Advertising photography, and Fine Art Photography, but has added Hip Hop promo and celebrity photography to his line of work. Working with both the talent, Ad and PR agencies, Michael Shane works to create photos that merge together fashion and hip hop culture into photos that defines each artist style.
