Versus aims to explore the fragility and volatile state of nature through the use of portrait photography; aiming to bring a visual contrast between the two different states of setting, that being the portrayal of the studio in an unfamiliar situation. This series also aims to record the shape and forms that nature creates.

By incorporating precarious weather elements inside the studio environment, the viewer is able to feel a sense of unease and confusion; whilst the acid transfer prints, helps to isolate the sitter within the frame.
