This was one of my all time favorite jobs. I worked with Matthew Lenning and Robert Festino to create four full pages for an article on summer desserts. I was really excited that these guys wanted to use illustration instead of photography for a food magazine. It paid off as several of these images were selected for American Illustration and were merit winners in the SPD awards.

I think paintings of food can be just as appetizing as a photo. When I am painting food I often have to take a break to eat whatever I am painting!
