Based in NE London - I was trained as a graphic designer & illustrator
and have over twelve years in the web, design & illustration industries.
I cut my digital teeth back in 1999 - when I took the leap from my first job as a
graphic designer at a fashion consultancy doing POS & labelling for the likes of
Ellesse - to the digital world of online corporate brochures for Smithkline, BP
and Pilkington at Pauffley design agency.
From there - the chance to work on a high profile website for Lego tempted me to
middle-weight role at Bomb Productions. The 18 month Lego project not only
enabled me to regress a few years - but also reaped a New Media Age award,
and, along with other projects for Channel 4 and Henson's Creature Shop,
saw me through the internet boom & bust noughties.
Since then I have worked as freelancer on both long term and short term contracts.
This has included a 2 year stint with Victoria Real & Endemol working in online flash
gaming, ongoing design & art direction for Fantasy League games and working at
agencies such as Guardian Digital Agency, Goodtechnology, Incline Media,
Taylor Lane, Ogilvy and JPMH.
I also own and run an online & events based gallery - showcasing contemporary
graphic art. This involves working closely with artists and suppliers in organising
regular exhibitions - and led to the opportunity to work with Chivas Regal in
organising a promotional art event in Moscow in 2010.
I am continually looking to work on exciting & creative projects - whether digital
or otherwise - and hope to continue working with talented individuals whilst learning
some new Photoshop hot keys along the way.
