Marco Amaral is a colorist based in Lisbon. His work is mainly focused in short and feature films, having worked in Blackmaria, O Som e a Fúria, Ukbar Filmes, Terratreme or David&Golias productions. He did a degree in School of Fine Arts and Design-cr and a post graduation degree
in Higher School of Theatre and Cinema.
During the last years he has been working in all kinds of projects shooted in 16mm and 35mm film, RED, Alexa, HD and HDSLR formats for cinema, television and web. His main goal is to find the individuality of each film and work the color and light with the director and DOP to find,
with them, the best aesthetics for the film.
