The Polymath, or the Life and Opinions of Samuel R. Delany, Gentleman. This 80-minute feature, directed by Fred Barney Taylor, is a cinematic portrait of the larger-than-life iconic figure, writer Samuel R. Delany.

The film's nonlinear structure follows Delany's own use of autobiography, science-fiction, social criticism, pornography and semiotics.
