The Polymath, or the Life and Opinions of Samuel R. Delany, Gentleman. This 80-minute feature, directed by Fred Barney Taylor, is a cinematic portrait of the larger-than-life iconic figure, writer Samuel R. Delany.

The Polymath fluidly fuses meditative and experimental imagery, autobiographical anecdotes, family home movies, and literary excerpts to produce a stylized and highly unusual documentary. The film's nonlinear structure follows Delany's own use of autobiography, science-fiction, social criticism, pornography and semiotics.

The First Street Gallery is located in New York's Chelsea neighborhood. Their artists are a stylistically diverse group who use a variety of mediums and techniques including drawing, painting, sculpture and mixed media. The members explore subjects as diverse as landscape, still life, the figure as well as mythic, personal, historical or political narratives.

This shows just a few examples of work I have done for them for group and individual shows.
