Louise Boarder is a women’s wear fashion designer based in London. Louise studied Fashion Design at Liverpool John Moores University, and left in 2011 with a BA (Hons) degree.

Travelling around the world, and having had a rather cultured upbringing; spreading her time between North Wales, London and Germany, has resulted in a very imaginative and creative way of working. Finding inspiration in almost anything, Louise takes influence from a combination of sources; ranging from nature and animals, to the surreal world of children story books and nursery rhymes. Her most recent collection 'Their Land of Nod', has taken inspiration from many sources; the children’s tales Peter Pan and Where The Wild Things Are, World War evacuees and woodland animals. She enjoys creating almost fairytale-esque characters within her collections, each piece telling a unique story, yet still keeping the all important high-fashion aesthetic.

Louise’s quirky designs are brought to life with her skill full pattern cutting and manufacture abilities. She enjoys the task of taking a simple, basic pattern, and through clever pattern manipulation, experimentation on the stand and extensive fabric sourcing, watching it become the character which she has designed.

Louise’s individual style and fun, yet carefully considered designs, make her a new, exciting young designer with genuine talent and flair.
