My college degree in Anthropology and Art prepared me well for being a designer, as I approach design first as a listener and second as a storyteller. This research-oriented methodology allows me to take in information, distill it to its essence and realize it in visual form. I love hearing about what matters to people and thinking about the visual language with which to represent it. Does yellow convey possibility or is it diagonal stripes? Or both?

My aim is to make work that tells stories, is poignant and perhaps offbeat.
