Memento Mori is a digital imaging project that explores life and death and how we perceive and react to living and dying. The purpose of the series is to start a dialogue in which we question what we think it means to be alive or dead, both physically and conceptually. The collages use appropriated images from 20th century Post Mortem photographers, flowers and landscapes, and photos of child beauty pageant contestants.
