While in Berlin, I came across a guy cutting up posters on a building wall, folding them down, and painting on their backsides. I watched for a while and then asked what he was doing.
The Berlin-based artist called 6 is one of the world's most prolific street artists. Working since 1995 under many names -- 4rtist, SeX, ﴾͡๏̯͡๏﴿ -- his work is part graffiti, part public education, and part graphic design. He was very kind in sharing his mission and his process.
