Heart Japan, 2011
In the unprecedented destruction that was witnessed when the Tōhoku earthquake and tsunami hit northeastern Japan on March 11, as many as 100,000 children were displaced from their homes, and their schools destroyed. The effects of the disaster will be felt for decades to come.
As a member of Renegade Pencils, an organization founded in 2010 to help give children access to a creative education, I've made a limited edition of fifty posters, entitled Heart Japan. They're priced at $100, plus shipping; 100% of the proceeds will be donated to ChildFund's tsunami relief efforts.
The posters are archival pigment prints measuring 17x22" featuring hand-drawn typography, printed on a beautiful 190gsm Hahnemüle William Turner fine art paper, and are signed and editioned by hand. Frames are not included.
If you hate the poster but still heart Japan, please just donate to ChildFund directly here.
