After spending 20 years in Western Mass, working on projects as diverse as opening a three-star restaurant, teaching at the local community college, staging fashion shows for collections, teaching fashion design to private students, I decided it was time to get back to school and see what is still interesting in fashion. the Word: Fashion and Social Responsibility..University of Delaware's Master program. The only program in the states dedicated to Global Responsibility and Sustainability.
My work here is a reflection of my studio's direction of using recycled and reclaimed materials for new projects. I'm currently focusing on work other than clothing to broaden my creative vision.
