Kevin Baylon
Kevin Baylon is a self-taught, independent photographer with a penchant for translation. Although not trained to play any musical instrument, he likes to play it by ear, seeing music by translating songs or lyrics into what he calls "visual covers." This portfolio exclusively expresses his interest in the intersection between sound and image. And while he wonders about the viability of translation in an age of John Doe Photography, creating visual headtrips out of the aural ones remains an escape, a means to his own system.
