My name is Justin Lowery, and I’m a passionate web and media designer working in sunny Southern California.

I have a healthy obsession with design, technology, and great coffee that keeps me constantly reading and learning more and more every day. I strive to deliver only the highest quality work, and work constantly to improve and polish my design and development skills. I don't try to compete on price with anyone you find on Craigslist, or with your cousin's nephew who knows web design, as I'm sure you understand! I enjoy working with clients who appreciate taste and quality, and who push me to do my best work and appreciate the resulting product.

Experience
I've been doing web design since before it was cool (sometime around the year 2000). I have worked as a staff designer doing both print and web design work, as a multi-disciplinary studio art director, and as a freelancer and tech consultant.

Specialties
I do just about everything, but spend the most time doing front end CMS theming and customization for WordPress and other Content Management Systems. I'm fluent in HTML, XHTML, CSS, and PHP, and know most modern design software well enough to use it in my sleep (sometimes literally!).

Budget
Most projects I take on fall within the 1 - 10k range in price. All projects are different, as are all clients, so take this with a grain of salt and feel free to contact me if you have a project that you'd like to discuss.

Timeframe
Most projects average between 1 and 4 months in length, with larger ones requiring up to 6 months to complete. Longer contracts are available for even bigger projects, or if maintenance or training are required. For minor updates or repairs to an existing site, contact me with details for an estimate.

Payments
Typically, I require a percentage up front, and the remaining amount during completion. For large projects we often break the cost up into manageable installments, delivered over time until the project is finished. An example timeframe could be 4 to 6 months. I accept PayPal, personal and business checks, direct credit and debit card payments via Square, and cash for local transactions.
