Women With Kitchen Appliances (WWKA) sont trois ou quatre ou cinq ou six. Identiques, interchangeables, jetables et mortellement sérieuses. WWKA est un projet sonore, un groupe rock, un cabaret, un collectif de performance, une improvisation, une infiltration, une intervention, une installation, un concert, une cacophonie, une recette, et depuis le printemps 2004, un service de certification de cuisine (une évaluation du potentiel sonore de votre cuisine). "We are three, four or five or six. Identical. Interchangeable. Disposable. And dead serious. We are a rock band, a sound project, a cabaret act, a synchronized rubber glove routine, a BBQ chicken washing machine, a confectionary flour Christmas jingle and Kitchen certification service." Depuis sa création en 1999, plus dune quinzaine dartistes ont participé au projet collectif WWKA. Elles ont performé sur des scènes et sur la pelouse, sous un chapiteau, à la radio, à la télé, dans des lofts, des lounges, des galeries, des épiceries, des cubes blancs et des cubes noirs, des bars, des festivals, des théâtres et chez les gens, dans leurs cuisines. Elles ont présenté leur travail à Montréal, Rouyn-Noranda, Hull, Toronto, Ottawa, New York, Shawinigan, Bruxelles, Québec, Rimouski et en Gaspésie.

We are three, four or five or six. Identical. Interchangeable. Disposable. And dead serious.
We are a rock band, a sound project, a cabaret act, a synchronized rubber glove routine, a BBQ chicken washing machine, a confectionery flour Christmas jingle and Kitchen certification service.
Formed in 1999, more than one dozen artists have participated in the WWKA collective project.
They have performed live in theater and for cabarets, on radio, television, in lofts, lounges, galleries, corner stores, white cubes and black cubes, in bars, at festivals, in people's homes, and their kitchens.
Woman With Kitchen Appliances have performed for audiences in Montreal, Rouyn-Noranda, Hull, Toronto, Ottawa, New York, Shawinigan, Bruxelles, Québec, Baie St. Paul, Alma, Rimouski and in Gaspésie.
