 | The inspirations for my work are numeruos, erosion, decay, surface qualities, but also the fact that everything is made up of smaller parts. Cells, molecules, threads and the ability of these parts to produce something of incredible strength. The material clay seemed an obvious starting point with which to experiment. I use hand building and slip casting techniques, often with the addition of organic materials that leave their fingerprint when fired.
