Between 2002-2005 I designed Cross Rhythms, a Christian music magazine that grew out of the Cross Rhythms ministry, based in Stoke-on-Trent. Working on this magazine initially under the expert guidance of my colleague Tom Morse-Brown, gave me a real grounding in layouts, and an insight into balancing headlines, text and images on a spread.
