In May of last year (2009/2010) I was living on the 10th floor in the student skyscraper on Södermalm in Stockholm. The view was magnificent, but over time I noticed that my curiosity started to direct my attention to the building opposite my apartment. I started to wonder who the people that lived there were and felt tempted to buy a pair of binoculars to peek into their lives. However, I felt this idea to be naughty and incorrect, and decided to put this project on-hold. When my conscious cleared, I went against what I had at first experienced as taboo, and bought a pair of binoculars and started spying. Who were my neighbors? I documented during a two week period, what I saw of my neighbors, what they looked like and what they were doing. My peeking resulted in a booklet containing my image and text documentations. The images are shot right through the binoculars.
